QA Automation Engineer

What Will You Be Involved With?
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases based on software requirements and technical design specs
- Assist in reproducing, investigating, and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development team
- Recommend product improvements, usability enhancements, or corrections in coordination with the Product Management team
- Responsible for testing product releases using a combination of automated and manual tests
- Thoroughly test new features manually, then convert them to automated tests for the regression suite
- Help identify gaps in test coverage and write manual tests and automation to plug the gaps
- Attend status meetings with development and other quality engineers to report on progress and challenges with current projects.
What you bring to the table
- 3+ years experience with scripting automated tests
- Strong Experience with Python is required; Experience with Linux is also a plus
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement
- Must understand the testing and development life cycle methodologies
- Knowledge of the financial industry and trading systems is a strong plus
