Proprietary traders select X_TRADER® as the most innovative and useful technology for their needs

CHICAGO and LONDON, December 10, 2014 – Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a provider of high-performance professional trading software, was named “Prop Traders’ ISV of the Year” by FOW magazine at the FOW International Awards yesterday in London. TT was selected for this award by proprietary traders who voted in FOW’s annual proprietary trading survey.

TT’s X_TRADER platform offers a variety of innovative tools that appeal to proprietary traders, including MD Trader®, the patented ladder for click traders, Autospreader®, which allows traders to create and execute synthetic spreads on one to ten exchanges simultaneously, and ADL®, a visual programming platform that lets traders test and deploy algorithms without writing any code. X_TRADER also offers prop traders server-based execution, integrated charting and analytics with X_STUDY®, a dedicated customer support team and an ever-expanding roster of supported markets.

“Proprietary traders have many unique needs, and as a result are very selective about their trading software,” said William Mitting, publisher and editor of FOW. “Trading Technologies created a platform broad enough to appeal to a wide variety of client types, yet detailed enough to be the ISV of choice for prop traders, and I think that says a lot about the strength of TT’s offering.”

“The prop trading community is very important to us, and it makes us very proud to know that proprietary traders think of us as the best ISV in the industry,” said TT CEO Rick Lane. “We will strive to retain this position with the launch of the new TT platform, which will deliver even better performance, functionality, and accessibility to professional traders around the world.”

Trading Technologies recently unveiled its next-generation platform, simply called TT, which is delivered via the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. The new platform is currently being rolled out to early-stage users and will be available for broad commercial distribution in early 2015.
